Problem: When Digitas first landed the Dell account, customers were getting lost on Dell.com. The site had become a usability nightmare. It still grossed about $14 Million a day -- begging the question, what are the disappearing customers worth?
Fix: The art director and I redesigned, re-architected and rewrote everything customers would see until they clicked "Buy". We simplified the experience. We also gave Dell a better way to cross-sell accessories and services.
